Jennifer Granger is the founder of Jennifer Granger, Attorney At Law in Nevada City, California. She has more than 30 years of experience representing clients in criminal defense and family law matters. Admitted to the State Bar of California in 1994, Jennifer has served as a Deputy Public Defender in Yuba and Nevada Counties and previously defended foreign nationals facing deportation in federal court at Crosland, Strand, Freeman & Mayock. She earned her law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law and holds a B.A. in History and Philosophy from Evergreen State College.

Background

Jennifer Granger graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1994. While attending law school, Jennifer clerked for San Francisco Defense Attorney Scott Kaufman. Upon graduation, she practiced for the immigration law firm Crosland, Strand, Freeman & Mayock defending aliens facing deportation in Federal Court.

In 2000, Ms. Granger moved to the Northern California town of Nevada City. For the past 23 years she has devoted her practice to criminal defense and family law in Nevada County, Placer County, Yuba County, Sutter County, and Sierra County.
